Junior Analyst

Alyssa Butler recently joined Tempest Technologies as a Junior Analyst after working as a Research Associate at the University of Quebec. There she studied Bayesian methods to help develop a model to simulate and optimize individual tree growth under changing climactic conditions, focusing on the competition between differing neighboring species.

Alyssa received her Master of Science Degree in Wildlife Sciences with course work and thesis focus on Applied Statistics. She designed and developed a multistate model to estimate adult survival of the Atlantic Horseshoe crab, Limulus polyphemus.
